IGT
UI / UX Designer
Axure, Photoshop
IGT had an old, non-responsive web portal that they used at trade shows to promote their web-based products. My task was to transform their outdated portal with an improved user flow and design across desktop, mobile and tablet.
• 1 UI / UX Designer (me)
• 2x developers
• 1x product owner
• 1x business analyst
The project began with an initial discovery and ideation phase where we mapped out the user flow of the existing portal in Axure. This helped us understand the current flow better in order to propose a better solution. A fully interactive prototype was made in Axure outlining all the key user journeys of the website, from registration to login, as well as additional product pages such as the Home page, Casino page, Poker page, Bingo page, Sports Betting and Lottery pages.
The project was planned in 2-week sprints; the wireframing and discovery phase took approximately 2 weeks (covering 5 separate products / mini sites within the main site), followed by a 2-week sprint for full colour mockups in Sketch (with Photoshop being used for the header banners). Regular catchups and remote calls were held with the product owner.
